Business and Community Awards Guidelines
The Noble County Chamber of Commerce will be presenting the following awards during the Annual Banquet in March.
The goal of the Business and Community Awards is to recognize those in the business community who have gone above and beyond. Chamber awards will be presented during the course of the evening. This is an opportunity for business owners in the community to come together to show their support for local business. Mark your calendars now and plan on joining us for this very special event.
Joyce M. Davis Memorial Award – This award is presented to an individual who must be a resident of Noble County, must be at least 18 years of age. The activities for which the honor is to be awarded must be other than those for which he/she is gainfully employed for. The activities must have been performed for the general good and welfare of the citizens of Noble County. A person whose activities must exemplify the character, spirit, and memory of Joyce M. Davis.
Business of the Year – must have a significant presence in and/or provide substantial benefit to the citizens and economy of Noble County and must be located in Noble County. Areas for consideration are consistent outstanding customer service; innovative products; consistent involvement in community; responsiveness to business/industry challenges; as well as responsiveness to the needs of the community.
Community Improvement – recognizes businesses that have expanded their operations; has made capital improvements to their facility; significant growth in employment.
